Here is a little update....
Elise has started to smile and coo alot, it has been so fun to see her start to respond and react to us. She has also hit a big mile stone... she has started to sleep through the night. She has been sleeping through the night for almost 3 weeks. It has been so nice for me to catch up on many hours of lost sleep.
Addie is our big helper...she will feed Elle a bottle, sing her a song to get her to stop crying or just lay by her in her pack and play. She is a great big sister.
About a week ago we went into Addie's bedroom to check on her and to our surprise we found an empty bed. At first we were kind of nervous we looked in the closet and in the corners of her bedroom but she was no where to be found. Just when a small hint of panic was about to set in we heard some very faint snoring coming from underneath you guessed it her bed. We flipped up the bed skirt and sure enough there she was peacefully sleeping. As we pulled Addie out we realized that she wasn't the only thing under the bed...Who can go to sleep without having the necessary gear? 4 blankets, 2 bunnies, a doll, a sippy cup, and books.
Addie is our little cowgirl. Over memorial weekend we went to delta and Addie loved riding Uncle Jayson's horse around for a while. She was in heaven. Our little family hike. We decided to venture out and take the girls on a little hike. They both really enjoyed it. Addie loved to see the waterfall and Elle enjoyed sleeping while we hiked.
Elise's blessing day went great. Jeremy did a great job. Thank you to all of our friends and family that came to support us. It was a lovely day. My biggest fear was that Elle would cry through the whole blessing and to my surprise...she did great and had her best day yet. Life is a little sweeter every day.
The adventures of triathlons. Jeremy had the St. George triathlon the middle of May. This is the 3rd year that he has done this triathlon. Jeremy did a great job. The weather conditions were definitely not ideal. It was extremly windy. The Olympic distance men (1 mi. swim, 25 mi. bike, 6.2 mi. run) went first, right after Jeremy got out of the water search and rescue started to pull swimmers out of the water due to the severe weather conditions; white caps are not the safest conditions to swim in. Those who completed the swim took double the time than usual. I was grateful that Jeremy was already done with the swim. This was one race that I was happy to be a spectator and not a racer. It was a great weekend with Ty and Aimee.

I love the pic. of Addie under the bed, not to mention with all of her Favorite things to keep her company!!! Elle looks so gorgeous in her blessing dress and I am glad to hear that all went well with her special day!!!
And a BIG CONGRATS! to you Jeremy for your incredible accomplishment. We are so glad to hear that all is well!
Take care,

Good to know you are alive! You sound busy. I am glad you figured out what was wrong with Elise. I guess one of the biggest benefits of me not being able to nurse is I can eat whatever I want. (I guess that can be a bad thing too.)
Great to see you back!!I love the picture with Elle in her blessing dress. It is gorgeous!!
HI! It's so great to hear you're back again. I've been watching :) Your girls are so beautiful! I'm glad things are getting better for you. And sleeping through the night... GO YOU! I bet that's nice. Addie sounds like an amazing big sister, I love having 2 kids, the help is beyond nice. Good luck with everything and keep the posts coming! :) PS- Congratulations Jeremy, you're beyond ambitious! Thanks for being a great motivator!
WHOA Welcome back Smith's. Cort- I am wretching inside that I didn't come to Elise's blessing. When we got back from Belize a mother in our ward had died and I could go on and on but I was helping out and her daughter is one of my beehives etc. Then my only thought on that Sunday was to fast for her family and go to church. I'm the worst friend EVER! I'll call you today and express my stupidity on the phone too. I'm so sorry
I am glad to see you've blogged! I was starting to worrie!! I told Sherri N. that we needed to call and check up on your family because we both noticed that it had been a while.
That is so great that addie is being such a help! I hope that Hunter & Easton will be also.
