Easter

"I believe that through His atoning sacrifice, the offering of His life on Calvary's Hill, He expiated the sins of mankind, relieving us from the burden of sin if we will forsake evil and follow Him. I believe in the reality and the power of His Resurrection. I believe in the grace of God made manifest through His sacrifice and redemption, and I believe that through His Atonement, without any price on our part, each of us is offered the gift of resurrection from the dead. I believe further that through that sacrifice there is extended to every man and woman, every son and daughter of God, the opportunity for eternal life and exaltation in our Father's kingdom, as we hearken to and obey His commandments. "

-President Gordon B. Hinckley

We had a great Easter. It is always good to reflect on the reason for Easter. We are grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and all that he has done for us. I think that this quote explains it perfect. Easter is a great holiday to be together with family and start to feel Spring coming soon.

We went to the Draper Park Easter egg hunt. Wow! It was a little ambitious to have it at 9:00 in the morning.. It was freezing. Addie enjoyed every minute of collecting the candy and Easter eggs. She has definitely caught on quick this year.

The egg decorating festivies... Addie loves anything that is messy. I have to admit that Mom and Dad enjoyed themselves too.

Addie's beautiful Easter dress. Good thing she is still excited about her new Easter dress considering that she wears a dress every day of her life.

You said it. Addie must have loved a new dress. I'm sure I'll see her in it soon...probably on a weekday! What a wonderful Easter you guys had. Thanks for the Spiritual addition. I love that.
