What we have been up to...

Yes, it seems that another month has past and I still can not seem to keep up on the family blog. I will try to do a month in review. It has been a mellow month. It has seemed that Elle has been sick almost the entire month, which makes it very hard to get out and do things.

Addie is a trouble maker. I took my eyes off of Addie for a few minutes to make my eggs for breakfast and I turned around to a room full of baby powder. Baby powder on the couches, the coffee table, her hair, her clothes, the carpet, you can even see the baby powder particles floating in the air. I had to laugh and get the camera. She definitely keeps me on my toes.

Twilight... where do I begin. I absolutely loved the books, and I absolutely loved the movie. I have never read a book and watched the movie and I can actually say that this movie fit the image that I had created in my mind. It was a fun time!

Love is in the air... I went straight from Twilight to help my little brother propose to his girlfriend. We sent Lindsay on a scavenger hunt and ended up at Millennial Falls where Lance proposed. It was absolutely beautiful, so I wanted to post a picture. There were candles and roses everywhere. I believe that there was about 150 roses. We are excited to have Lindsay as part of our family. Thanks for letting me be part of your special night!

Random picture of Elle, I absolutely love being a mother. I have always loved being a mother, but there is a different reward when you have two children and you see how much they love each other. Elle absolutely adores Addie. It melts my heart to see how happy they are just being together.

Our little angels. It is so fun to have children old enough to participate in the family nativity.
This is a cute picture of my grandma. She is the most amazing person. She is always thinking of others, she is the best cook in the world, she has accomplished so many things and continues to live life to its fullest. She was also the first woman life guard in California (I have always thought that was so incredible!). I love being able to be around her.

I thought this was a cute picture of Jeremy and Addie. Addie always has on creative outfits, yes we understand that it is winter and she is wearing a tank top! It is a battle with this child to wear anything.
Addie had her first dance performance. She did a great job. On her first performance I walked up in the middle of the isle to see her better and she spotted me, so I became one of those Moms! She didn't move and just stared at me, so as any good Mom would do I started to do the dance so she would do it too. She was a little delayed, but she
did it. I walked away thinking... I can not believe I was one of those Moms that did the dance in the audience. Oh, well. The second performance she stood there and looked at the beautiful lights and found jewels on the floor of the stage during the performance. It was really cute. We definitely had a good laugh.

That is a great baby powder story. The same thing happened to another one of my friends, but with a jar a Vaseline--so be grateful. I hope Addie kept the treasures she found on stage at her second performance. I love when kids do that kind of stuff.

I love that you can still see the baby powder remnants flying through the air in your picture.
