Alphabet Summer

I have started a new adventure this week. We are starting an alphabet summer, each day we do a different letter of the alphabet (Thanks Audrey for the cute idea). It gives my girls an opportunity to have different experiences, pay attention to letters and have fun noticing different things that we would not normally notice. Each day we are doing a page to go in an alphabet book, Addie loves anything to do with crafts.

A
Aqua Blue Pancakes with Applesauce for Breakfast
Animals at Wheeler Farm
Angry - Mom got really angry when Addie hit a 9 year old little boy with a stick
Apple Crisp for dessert

B
Barbie Movie
Blue Pancakes with Blue Eggs
Butterflies - Addie got a butterfly kit for Christmas, we received the caterpillars a few weeks ago and have been watching them change to butterflies. Addie decided to let her butterflies go today.
Bubbles
BBQ Pork, green Beans and Blue Lemonade for dinner
Bounced on the trampoline
Berry Smoothie

C
Cereal for Breakfast
Zoo to see the Cougars, Camels, Crocodiles, Chimpanzees, Carousel, Cockatoo, large Cats and found a Catcus
Had Chips, Carrots, Celery, Cashews and Cookies for lunch
Watched Cinderella and had Carmel popcorn

D
Played with our Dog, Roxy
Watched Dinosaur Train
Learned about Dolphins
Dinosaur Nuggets, and Doughnuts for lunch
Had a Daddy Daughter Dinner Date with Dad

We have had a really fun week. I will hopefully continue to keep up on the blog for the remainder of the summer :-)

Update:

Drake is now 2 months old! We have loved every moment of having a new little baby in our home. The girls absolutely adore him. Jeremy is the cutest Dad, I love to watch him interact and play with our cute little guy. I love dressing and accessorizing the girls... but it has been so nice to throw on shorts and a shirt and not have to worry about shoes, headbands, etc... It is amazing how a sweet little boy just naturally fits into our family. I feel so blessed to be the mother of 3 great children.
