Getting Prepared

Time seems to be flying by. We only have about a month left before we have our new little arrival. We are so excited to have the spirit that a new born brings to our home. The miracle of birth is the closest we get to heaven. I feel that I am ready to be done being pregnant, but I don't know if I am ready for the dependency of a newborn. I know that I can handle a newborn, I just don't know if I can handle a newborn and a toddler. Every challenge we face continues to make us stronger. Pregnancy and birth is such a miracle, and we have been so blessed to be entrusted with these sweet spirits.

The nursery is still a work in progess, but it is coming along. I have finished my first quilt from start to finish. I am very proud, it is definitely noticeable that it is my first quilt. Practice makes perfect. I have really enjoyed putting the nursery together.

Whoa, Cort you outdid yourself! I am so impressed. The nursery looks like it should be in a magazine. I love the quilt too. It looks like you did the whole bedding along to match! Well, now you're ready. Remember babies come whenever they want...she could be here tomorrow! Love ya.

Her room is DARLING! I am in the same boat--I need to get moving, but, I guess, I have a little longer to procrastinate :)!

Having two isn't that hard. It took me a couple of months to adjust, but now it is easier because they play and entertain each other. I wouldn't have done it any other way.

Cute v-day post! Jermey is a great guy--you guys make such a great couple!

The nursery is way cute! I actually got a sneek preview of it a couple of weeks ago. It would be so fun to decorate for a girl. The options are endless. Good work! It was really fun to see you, too. I love your house and thanks again for letting me sell my things. I appreciate it. We've got to hang before this baby comes!

You're getting so close! Cute nursery, it'll be even cuter with a baby in the crib! Make sure you update us when she's born -- Maybe Jeremy can do that. Good luck, you'll be great with two!

Dear Jeremy and Cortney,
Hi! How are you guys? I didn't even know you guys were expecting another baby until I found your blog through Jen Roper - so 'Congratulations' way late!!! Cortney, that nursery is way to cute - I love it! Well, I just wanted to stop in and say 'hi'. I I hope all is going well with you and your sweet little Addison - what a doll she is! Good luck with your soon to be new arrival!
